Principal's Weekly Update

May 22nd

A Big THANK YOU from Mr. Hunter

It is hard to believe it, but we have made it to the end of the school year. It has been a fantastic year for our school and I am so proud of the effort our students, teachers and staff have put forth. A few quick reminders before we sign off for the summer:

1) Our Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors will be completing their 9-Week Exams Monday through Thursday. These are early release days, as school will end at 11:45 AM. Please also know that BACKPACKS ARE NOT PERMITTED this week.

2) If your student earns an F for the semester it is important that they attend Summer School and make up the credit THIS SUMMER! I cannot emphasize how important it is to make up a credit as soon as possible to remain on track for graduation. If you earned an F for the semester, reach out to your counselor BEFORE THURSDAY to make sure you are signed up and ready to go for Summer School.

3) This will be the last Weekly Principal's Bulletin for the 2022-23 School Year. I will begin sending Weekly Bulletins again starting on Monday, July 10. Keep an eye out for this bulletin as it will have TONS of important info about Freshman Orientation, Schedule Pick-Up, Athletics Try-Outs and the first week of school.

Thank you for making my second year at Lyman High School so amazing and I hope you have a GREAT Greyhound Summer!

Michael Hunter, Principal
