2017- 2018 Student Registration

2017-2018 Lyman High School Student Registration

The process for selecting courses for the 2017-2018 school year at Lyman has begun.  The following links will be of assistance to students and families as you plan for next year.

 

The first link is the Lyman High School 2017-2018 Student Registration Presentation: Your Blueprint to Success. Here you will learn who about your school counselors, graduation requirements, diploma options, university entrance requirements, community service, core class teacher recommendations, elective opportunities, the registration form, and important upcoming dates.

 

The second is the new 2017-2018 Curriculum Guide.  Here you will learn about all of the programs available to students at Lyman including detailed course descriptions for each class offered next year.  Included in this year’s guide is a color coded curriculum map for each core content area which clearly details the course progression across each grade level. This is where you can learn how students can “Get Involved” at Lyman High School.  

 

Important Upcoming Dates:

January 18-February 8:  Core Content Teacher Recommendations Provided for 17-18 Course Selections

 

February 6: Students will receive the Registration Card in 3rd Period.  Go to Student Services if absent to pick up your Registration Card.

 

February 13, 5:30-8:00 pm: Paw Preview: Face-to-face information regarding course options and opportunities for the 2017-2018 school year in academics, careers, and athletics. Incoming 9th Graders.

 

February 21-24: Go to computer labs through Science classes to select electives for the 17-18 school year in Skyward Student Access.  Core Classes will be pre-loaded.  Core Class Override Form to be obtained for any Core Class that parents and students wish to change.

 

March 16: Last day to turn in the Core Class Override Form.

 

May 1-May 12: Review of 17-18 Course Requests.  Final opportunity to change courses by submitting change form.
